HAOQI LI

Haoqi Li began her professional training in classical guitar at the Classical Guitar Department of Shenzhen Arts School in 2010. Since 2018, she has studied at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien) with renowned guitarist Prof. Álvaro Pierri, and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in classical guitar performance.
Her competition achievements include First Prize in the Guitar Ensemble Category and Second Prize in the Guitar Solo Category at the 7th Singapore Zhongxin International Music Competition – Shenzhen Regional Selection in 2012, First Prize in the Youth Category at the Hong Kong International Guitar Competition in 2013, and Second Prize in the Open Category at the same competition in 2015.
In 2019, Haoqi performed in the “Young Talents” Concert as part of the 200th Anniversary Festival of the Fritz Kreisler Department at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
In 2025, representing mdw in the Global Conservatoire, she participated in The Global Conservatoire Transnational Meeting 2025, collaborating in a guitar duo with Michele Reali of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in an international real-time performance project that brought together musicians from leading conservatoires around the world through innovative digital performance technology. In the same year, she presented a classical guitar solo recital in Guangzhou, China.
Earlier in her training, Haoqi participated in a classical guitar exchange concert in Macao in 2011 and performed on several occasions in the “Beautiful Sunday” public concert series at Shenzhen Concert Hall.
