Pianist Alexander Romanovsky, now 18 years old, was born in the Ukraine and showed an exceptional musical talent from a very early age. When he was twelve he moved to Italy and enrolled at the Imola International Piano Academy where he has been studying under Professor Leonid Margarius. Alexander has performed in concert with orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Philarmonic, the Ukranian National Orchestra, and the Seville Symphony Orchestra. He has also played numerous concerts with the "Virtuosi of Moscow" Chamber Orchestra directed by V. Spivakov. He has participated in numerous music festivals in Italy and in Japan where he toured extensively in 2001. In 1999 the Royal Philarmonic Academy og Bologna appointed him as a member "honoris causa", a distinction also shared at such a tender age by Mozart and Rossini !. Programme W.A.
