Colin TONG Sek Yuen  (piano) Age: 11

Born in 2007, Colin is a Primary 6 student at the Ying Wa Primary School. He started studying piano at the age of five, receiving his early training from Ms. Karen Sung Ke Zhang. At age nine, he was admitted to the Junior Music Program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). Currently, he is studying piano under the tutelage of Ms. Rachel Cheung Wai Ching.

In addition to playing piano, Colin also plays the violin. He was a member of the Senior String Orchestra and of the Symphony Orchestra at the Ying Wa Primary School. Currently, he is the pianist of the Senior Choir at the School.

Colin has participated in numerous piano competitions, winning several awards and prizes, among which: First Prize, Children Class C - The 19th HK – ASIA Piano Open Competition (2016); First Prize, Graded Piano Solo Grade 5 – The 69th Hong Kong Schools of Music Festival (2016); First Prize, Children Recital Class – The 8th Hong Kong Virtuosos Music Competition (2017); First prize in the Amateur Group D – The International Liszt Ferenc Competition (2018); First prize Children Class – The 4th Europe Elbe Valley International Music Competition (2018);

As the winner in both the Piano Open Class Children Class and the Piano Own Choice Children Class in the Global Final of the China International Music & Arts Festival 2018, Colin will be participating in the prestigious music festival to be held by The Bavarian Music Academy, Hammelburg, Germany, in August 2019.

唐碩元  (鋼琴) 11歲

師承於著名鋼琴家張緯晴，唐碩元今年十一歲，他自五歲開始學習鋼琴，一直熱愛音樂，九歲時考入香港演藝學院青少年音樂課程主修鋼琴課程。

碩元熱愛音樂，除了鋼琴外，他也學習小提琴，曾經是英華小學高級弦樂團及管弦樂團的成員。 現為英華小學高級歌詠團的司琴。

唐碩元參加了多項鋼琴比賽，並獲得了多項公開音樂比賽獎，包括：第十九屆香港－亞洲鋼琴公開比賽兒童C組冠軍，第六十九屆香港學校音樂節五級鋼琴冠軍，第八屆香港演奏家音樂大賽兒童演奏組冠軍，李斯特國際鋼琴公開賽業餘組D組冠軍，第四屆歐洲易北河谷國際音樂節兒童組冠軍。

唐碩元在國際中華音樂及藝術節獲得鋼琴公開演奏組-兒童組和鋼琴自選曲組-少年A組兩項全球總決賽冠軍,被評委會選出並獲邀參加德國哈默爾堡巴伐利亞音樂學院在2019年8月中舉辦的音樂節。
